How it works

A straightforward process.

01
Step 1

Forecast early

Six months into your year we forecast your CT bill so there are no January shocks. If we can act to reduce it, we tell you now, not later.

02
Step 2

Reliefs reviewed

Every year we review capital purchases, R&D activity and structure to make sure every legal relief is claimed.

03
Step 3

Return prepared

CT600 prepared alongside your final accounts and sent for your review with a clear tax summary.

04
Step 4

Filed & paid

Filed with HMRC, payment reference issued, and the whole schedule diarised for next year.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

What's the corporation tax rate for a small company?

For profits under £50,000 the small profits rate is 19%. Above £250,000 it's 25%. Between those thresholds you're in marginal relief territory, which we plan around carefully.

Can we claim R&D tax credits?

Often yes, especially where you're developing new products, methods, software or technical solutions. We assess this every year as part of your CT review.

What about capital allowances on vehicles and equipment?

You can usually claim 100% first-year relief via the Annual Investment Allowance on qualifying plant and commercial vehicles. We review purchases at year-end to make sure nothing is missed.
