Common questions

Frequently asked.

When are my accounts due?

Nine months after your company year-end for Companies House, and twelve months for HMRC (though CT600 payment is due within nine months). We aim to file both together, well before the deadline.

Do you handle abridged accounts?

Yes, if you qualify as a small or micro entity we'll use the appropriate reliefs so you file the minimum required at Companies House while keeping HMRC happy.

What if my previous accountant is slow to hand over records?

We handle the professional clearance and record handover on your behalf. It's covered in your onboarding at no extra cost.

Can you file historical accounts I'm behind on?

Yes. We regularly take on clients who are one or two years behind. We'll get you current and negotiate with HMRC on any penalties.
